Bexley - 2 Bed - Yield of 6.16%

This one has just caught my eye, why? Because De Scotia have just reduced this; making it an interesting one to watch. It’s a 2 bedroom first floor flat with a private garden and it’s being offered chain free at £189,995.

The fact that it’s just come down in price, and Christmas is around the corner, I feel that there may be potential to negotiate the price some more if you could promise a swift purchase.

Achievable rent, you’re looking at around £975pcm and with demand for rental properties so high, I can’t see any delay in finding a suitable tenant.

Even at the current asking price you would be looking at a healthy yield of 6.16%. Remember, you must ask about the service charge payable per annum as that would have an impact on this figure – but in my experience service charges tend to be on the lower side on these properties.

I can see similar properties fetching £200,000+ in just a few months, so, if you’re interested then you should give De Scotia a call, quick!
